Roles: Staff/Senior Staff/Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Multiple Openings

Locations: Pune, Bangalore, San Francisco Bay Area

Position Full time with immediate start

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related engineering fields
• 8+ years of software QA experience with familiarity in C/C++, Python or Perl
• Hand-on experience in building test plans, running functional tests, stress tests and preparing test reports for CPU and SoC side interfaces like PCIe, DDR and such.
• Hands-on experience with test automation, scripting, nightly regressions
• Hands-on experience in performance benchmarking, performance tools and fault isolation on multi-core systems.
• Hands-on experience running benchmarks like Dhrystone, Coremark, LMBench, STREAM, SPECCPU2017 and more running in a Linux environment.
• Experience with cloud workloads like Memcached, NGINX, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra etc.
• Experience in Linux application, kernel, profiling, analyzing system bottlenecks and performance optimization - knowledge of perf, flame graphs and getting visibility into performance bottlenecks.
• Hands-on experience with the GNU/LLVM tool chain and debuggers like GDB
• Ability to work independently and across geographies with hardware, software development and product management teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills and good English communications skills, both verbal and writing.

Skills and Qualifications Desirable

• Good understanding of CPU architecture, ARM or X86. RISC-V architectural knowledge would be an added plus.
• Experience in firmware, bios, kernel, and application layers including hardware accelerators.
• Experience working in multi-core, multi-process/thread environment.
• Knowledge of open-source Linux, git repository maintenance and source code management
