THE ROLE

As part of the Advanced Services Engineering team, the Product Services Engineer is responsible for engineering and operationalising repeatable platform services that support the lifecycle of Everpure products. This role owns the readiness, automation, and standardisation of product-attached services, ensuring they can be deployed consistently, efficiently, and at global scale.

Unlike consulting or solution innovation roles, the Product Services Engineer focuses exclusively on operational product services such as installation, upgrades, lifecycle management, and decommissioning (IMACD). Working closely with Product Engineering, Portfolio, and Delivery teams, you will translate product capabilities into scalable service frameworks that improve operational efficiency and accelerate customer adoption.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Engineering and Advanced Services, ensuring every product service is operationally ready before being released to the field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Working under the guidance of the Platform Services Engineering Lead the role is responsible for:
  • Engineering Platform Services
  • Drive Operational Readiness
  • Standardise and Scale
  • Enable Delivery
  • Design, build, and maintain repeatable product-attached services for Everpure products and platforms
  • Define engineering standards for installation, upgrades, lifecycle management, and decommissioning (IMACD)
  • Develop service automation, tooling, runbooks, and operational procedures to improve consistency and quality
  • Manage process for reviewing software / code (Purity) releases to identify crucial updates and impact on existing service offerings and process
  • Ensure product services are aligned to product releases and engineering roadmaps.
  • Define service readiness criteria, operational documentation, and enablement assets before global release.
  • Partner with Product Engineering to operationalise new platform capabilities.
  • Continuously improve product services through automation, simplification, and standardisation.
  • Reduce delivery variation by creating globally repeatable service frameworks.
  • Support Delivery, Global Delivery Centers, and Centres of Excellence with operational guidance and enablement materials.
  • Collaborate with Services Solutions Architects to ensure innovative solution services are underpinned by robust platform capabilities.
  • Provide engineering expertise during pilot transitions into operational services.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong experience in Product engineering, infrastructure, or cloud environments
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and operational service design
  • Experience building automation and standardised operational processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise Products (storage, cloud, virtualization, networking)
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Python, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Ability to design scalable, repeatable service models rather than one-off solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills across architecture, product, and engineering teams
  • Attention to detail and focus on operational excellence
  • Strong Documentation and asset management (version control) skills
  • Knowledge / experience of Continuous Improvement Methodologies (ie Six Sigma) preferred.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:

$107,000—$161,000 USD
