Job Description

  • Lead and manage enterprise platform services covering Linux OS, virtualization, Kubernetes, observability, identity, backup, and storage.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across platform operations, architecture, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
  • Ensure platform availability, performance, resilience, security, and compliance through effective operational governance.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient platform architectures aligned with business needs.
  • Oversee Linux administration, including hardening, patching, life-cycle management, tuning, and security baseline enforcement.
  • Manage virtualization platforms to ensure optimal utilization and scalability.
  • Lead container and microservices platforms, including Kubernetes, ensuring secure onboarding and operational reliability.
  • Strengthen observability and monitoring platforms including Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, and Kibana.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management, including crisis handling, root cause analysis, and corrective actions during major incidents.
  • Ensure ISO, SOX, ITGC and other regulatory compliance, including audit readiness, policy & SOP documentation, evidence management, and timely closure of audit findings.
  • Lead disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) planning, testing, and execution to ensure data integrity and organizational resilience.
  • Oversee vendor management, solution evaluation, SLA governance, cost optimization, and technology selection.
  • Manage and mentor the platform team, setting standards, priorities, and delivery expectations.
  • Drive capacity planning, budgeting, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives.
  • Lead change management, ensuring controlled, compliant, and risk-free production changes.
  • Lead and coordinate security audits, compliance remediation, and implementation of enterprise security controls and best practices.

Academic Qualification

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering/ B.Sc. in EEE or any IT related graduation

Job Experience Required

  • 4-5 years relevant experience

  • 1-2 years of experience as OS System Administration, Hardware Infrastructure Architect, Design, planning and Operation with a proven track.
  • Proven track record as leading team with similar role in international or local large Telco / vendor / Corporate/ IT industry.

Required Capabilities

  • Experience in RFPs, budgeting, capacity planning, vendor management, and SLA governance.

  • Good understanding of ITIL processes, especially Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

  • Professional Expert on Hardware Management, Data Center Management, Virtualization, and IT Infra Architect
  • Sufficient knowledge on Microservice platform
  • Detailed knowledge on Firewall, Security threat understanding and mitigation process.
  • Experience in planning and execution of Service Migration with minimal down time where direct business is involved.
  • Sound knowledge of Information Security and IT Audit processes
  • Demonstrate positive attitude, ownership, initiative, and self-organization.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and produce anticipated results.
  • Business continuity concepts and practices
  • Excellent understanding of product management and project management principles
