Role: Platform Operations Engineer – P02
Experience: 6–7 Years
Location: GCC - Chennai / 24×7 Support Model
We are looking for a hands-on Platform Operations Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure across Windows, VMware/Nutanix, and hybrid cloud environments. The role will focus on platform stability, VTM activities, certificate lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and day-to-day operational support.
What You'll Bring:
Key Responsibilities
Ø Administer and support Windows Server environments in enterprise setups
Ø Support VMware infrastructure; Nutanix exposure is an added advantage as part of ongoing migration initiatives
Ø Participate in Vulnerability & Threat Management (VTM) remediation activities
Ø Manage internal certificate lifecycle (renewals, deployments, expiry tracking)
Ø Coordinate with DC vendors for hardware/parts replacement and track to closure
Ø Perform capacity management, disk extensions, and routine platform maintenance
Ø Support NetApp storage, backup platforms (Commvault or similar)
Ø Participate in 24/7 operational support and incident response
Ø Work with cloud teams supporting workloads on Azure and GCP
Ø Execute routine automation tasks using PowerShell
Required Skills
Ø Windows Server administration (build, patching, troubleshooting)
Ø VMware administration; Nutanix basics preferred
Ø Backup & storage concepts (NetApp, Commvault or equivalent)
Ø Understanding of certificates, PKI, and platform security practices
Ø Basic cloud exposure (Azure / GCP fundamentals)
Ø Vendor coordination and ticket management experience
Preferred Skills
Ø PowerShell scripting / automation exposure
Ø ITIL process awareness (Incident, Change, Problem)

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
