Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
May use common development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Software Development

• Design and develop software on Linux-based USRP Processing Subsystem.
• Develop FPGA register access services and hardware abstraction layers.
• Implement configuration and management frameworks.
• Develop secure remote software upgrade mechanisms.
• Integrate UHD APIs and RFNoC frameworks.

SDR Platform Integration

• Interface PS software with FPGA PL blocks.
• Manage radio initialization and calibration flows.
• Implement streaming control and IQ transport management.
• Support timing and synchronization (GPSDO/PTP/PPS).

Networking

• Develop high-performance Ethernet software.
• Support 10G/100G interfaces.
• Implement eCPRI/O-RAN transport connectivity.
• Debug packet latency and throughput issues.
