
THOR Solutions is seeking a Platform Developer II to support NIWC Pacific in San Diego, CA The selected candidate will develop and maintain business applications, automation solutions, and data management tools that support mission-critical operations. This role requires collaboration with government and contractor personnel to deliver innovative technology solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.
Typical Responsibilities. This position’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Work Location: Hybrid/local remote. A minimum of one full onsite day every week is required, as well as periodic in-person meeting attendance (e.g., all hands meetings, special events, etc.). Onsite days are based at NIWC PAC Point Loma in San Diego, CA. Additional onsite days, up to and including fully onsite, may be required at the request of the government customer.
Work Schedule: This position follows the California Alternate Work Week Schedule: Monday – Thursday are 9-hour days, Fridays are alternating 8- or 0-hour days, for a total of 80-hours for every two weeks. Workday starts at 7:15am PST Mon-Thu and on working Fridays.
Typical Physical Activity Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.
Typical Pay Range The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $36.00-40.00/hour. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.
Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required This position requires an existing active or interim Secret security clearance prior to hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position. An otherwise strongly qualified candidate with highly relevant experience but no current security clearance may be considered.
