Job Description

Imagine what you could do here. The people here at Apple don’t just create products — they create the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.

Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team is, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.

We are here to make sure we do the right thing for the customer and provide solutions that fit within their environment. We solve business and technical problems to ensure success for both Apple and its customers. We provide technical sales consulting and support with the objective of transforming the way people work, teach, and learn.

This is a home office, field sales role based in the posting location and requires up to 35% domestic travel.

As a Platform Architect within the Canadian Field Engineering team for Apple’s channel sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in helping business and education partners and customer successfully adopt and scale our platform across their organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to guide the build of best-in-class IT practices and environments that support the scaled use of our products, ensuring long-term success beyond your direct engagement.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping partners build practices to deploy, manage, and secure our platform at scale while also addressing user experience, application and support strategies, and overall lifecycle management needs. A key part of your role will be introducing long-term service offerings delivered by partners that ensure ongoing customer success at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in both English and French is highly preferred.
Strong experience engaging and enabling channel partners to drive joint sales outcomes.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions.
Expert in active listening and debating with a focus on finding the best solutions, even if it means pivoting from original ideas.
Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Typically 7 years of experience in deploying and managing Apple technology across large complex heterogenous IT environments
Extensive knowledge of platform security architecture, including security and compliance
Deep expertise with Mac client management solutions (e.g., Jamf, Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, pkgbuild, autopkg, Packages, Composer)
Expertise with Identity Provider solutions (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Okta)

Solid understanding with Windows equivalents of above
Hands-on knowledge of multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS and iOS/iPadOS
Expertise in building and delivering compelling presentations, demonstrations and seminars.
Ability to build, maintain, and strengthen high-level customer and partner relationships.
Strong communicator, capable of delivering complex technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences including at an executive level.
