You will define how all components connect and interact — from mobile apps to backend services to third-party integrations — ensuring a scalable, secure, and reliable foundation for the entire product.
Strong background in backend engineering and system architecture
Deep experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of:
RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
Event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
Database design (SQL and NoSQL systems)
System scalability, caching strategies, and load balancing
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Experience designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
Strong understanding of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
Ability to evaluate trade-offs between performance, cost, and complexity
Experience in fintech, trading, or high-load transaction systems
Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized architectures, and service mesh (e.g., Istio)
Experience with event sourcing or CQRS patterns
Strong understanding of security architecture in distributed systems
Experience leading architecture in production-scale systems
Design and evolve scalable, high-performance system architecture
Define system interactions across microservices, APIs, and external integrations
Lead architectural decisions and provide technical direction to engineering teams
Ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance across systems
Identify architectural bottlenecks and design long-term solutions
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams on system design
Define engineering standards, system patterns, and best practices
