Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM

Pay Rate: $23+ DOE, Hourly

Onsite Location: Boise, ID

Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of plastic components and systems in both shop and field environments.
  • Operate fabrication and machining equipment, including mills, lathes, drills, table saws, routers, joiners, and various hand tools while following safety procedures.
  • Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, blueprints, measurements, and work instructions to ensure quality fabrication.
  • Perform plastic fabrication activities, including plastic welding and cabinet-making techniques using plastic sheets and materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all company safety standards and PPE requirements.
  • Support cleanroom and field operations as needed, including wearing respirators and other protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Capable of fabricating and processing products and assemblies from initial layout through completion with minimal assistance.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal instructions, written procedures, technical documentation, and work orders.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to respond to phone calls, emails, and other work-related communications professionally.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all company, shop, and PPE requirements, including the ability to work overtime as needed and accurately track time and work activities.

Preferences:

  • Experience in fabrication, welding, cabinet making, or custom furniture construction.
  • Familiarity with PVC or plastic welding and fabrication processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
  • Experience reading blueprints, drawings, or fabrication instructions.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop new skills.

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
