Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE

The Plasma Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the Plasma Collection Marketing and Donors Affairs team. The primary responsibility will be to create compelling visual assets and designs for marketing campaigns and initiatives. Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative content that enhances plasma awareness, engages the target audience, and drives donors' acquisition and retention

The Plasma Marketing Specialist works to create designs and visual concepts that deliver information through imagery, art and photographs for plasma collection operations. He/she possess skills that include the ability to produce artwork in a variety of styles for donor centers, plasma awareness events, donors' recruitment activities and social media, understand design and have excellent communication skills.

He/she also manages the social media channels targeting plasma awareness and donors (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) through relevant content creation, posting, media buying activities, reports generation and performance enhancement, targeting and segmentation, etc.

Create effective media buying strategies, media planning to identify target audiences and craft effective campaigns. Ensure that ads reach the intended audience through the right channels at optimal prices.

ENVIRONMENT

Internal: Plasma collection and donors' affairs, DC Operations, Call center.

External: Donors, Patient associations, Third party providers, Medical associations, Corporates, Community-based organizations and others.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Social Media Management:

  • Create the annual social media plan and calendar.
  • Execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, audience identification and media buying optimization.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, HTML, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Set up and optimize donors' pages within each platform to increase the visibility of content.
  • Coordinate the Moderation for donor' pages for all user-generated contents.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and acting on the information.
  • Collaborate with other functions (donor relations, call center, donation centers, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
  • Media Buying:

- Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns

- Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix

- Prepare schedules and adjust when needed

- Experiment with new platforms and channels

- Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately

- Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)

2) Designs and content creation:

  • Develop unique, stand-out advertising creative, in video, animation, Infographics and still formats.
  • Create visually appealing and engaging designs for on ground marketing.
  • Assist with video editing and production needs, as necessary.
  • Create compelling & engaging social media content.
  • Create short form video content, including reels, social videos, and gifs.
  • Assist in the copywriting for marketing materials.
  • Develop brand identity elements, such as logos, icons, and visual guidelines, to maintain a consistent brand image across all platforms.
  • Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and reflect the brand's tone and messaging.
  • Design user interfaces, and user experience (UI/UX) elements that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Optimize designs for different digital platforms and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Create and edit multimedia content, such as videos, GIFs, and animations, to support plasma marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all visual content is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO) and adheres to relevant copyright and licensing regulations.

3) Creative Strategy and Ideation:

  • Contribute to the development of creative strategies and ideas for digital and on ground marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and graphic design.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency setting.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and channels, including social media, websites, and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and strong experience in SEO.

COMPUTING SKILLS

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, graphic design software and CRM applications.

Grifols Egypt for plasma derivatives is a joint-venture (JV) company between the Egyptian Government, through the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) and Grifols, the global leader in plasma medicines with more than 110 years of contribution to improving the health and well-being of people.

This joint venture is the first of its kind in the plasma industry and the first-ever Egyptian source member of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA). GEPD is a groundbreaking global public-private alliance that will benefit the entire region.

GEPD is committed to developing the plasma medicines market and achieving self-sufficiency in these critical therapies, which is crucial for the Egyptian healthcare system.

We are combining the expertise of both shareholders to build and operate 20 plasma donation centers throughout Egypt, along with manufacturing facilities including fractionation, purification, and fill-and-finish plants with a processing capacity of up to 1 million liters of plasma annually that can double in the future.

The new manufacturing facility will include a plasma warehouse and a testing laboratory. It will occupy 105,000 square meters strategically located in the administrative capital’s medical city, adjoining various healthcare institutions.
