We’re looking for a Plant Operator to join our Auckland asphalt (production) team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help run the plant, operate loader equipment, and keep production moving safely, efficiently and to the right standard. If you like practical work, solid teamwork and being trusted to get stuck in, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of our asphalt plant, helping to ensure production runs safely, efficiently and to specification. Your responsibilities will include starting up and shutting down the plant, monitoring temperatures, gauges and mix settings, and assisting with the blending of aggregates, bitumen and additives to meet production and quality requirements. You’ll also operate the loader to move raw materials, manage stockpiles, feed materials into the plant, and help prevent contamination.
You’ll also carry out routine inspections, complete production and quality records, maintain housekeeping and environmental controls, and work closely with drivers and the wider team to keep the site running smoothly.
