Job Description

Our mission is to build and foster relationships with Boston youth aged 14 to 17 who are eligible for summer employment. Police officers and civilian staff provide mentorship, resources, and support to improve the quality of life. We focus on the following workshops: health and wellness, life readiness skills such as personal development, decision-making, problem-solving, coping with stress, emotions, and trauma response. In addition to life skills, we offer presentations on financial literacy, substance abuse, youth-police dialogues, and visits to various local colleges. Over six weeks, the employees will receive valuable information that will aid in their growth and development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Must have an interest in physical fitness. - Must have an interest in working with law enforcement. - Ability to work well and collaborate with both adults and peers. - Encouraged to take on leadership roles and engage in public speaking.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job

- Physically capable of completing basic exercises. - Must be present for the full six weeks, unless there is an emergency or prior engagement. - Employees cannot be absent for more than three working days. - Employees must participate in all individual and group workshops.
