Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Carmarthenshire to assist with the appointment of a Plant/Agri/Mower Technician, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £15.50 - £20.27 per hour

Summary:

A Plant/Agri/Mower Technician is required to carry out the day-to-day repair and servicing of plant and agricultural machinery, including mowers, tractor attachments and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and servicing of plant and agricultural machinery.
• Ensure all available resources are used efficiently to support effective repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain appropriate machine parts stock levels and ensure records are kept up to date.
• Maintain accurate records of machinery repairs and servicing.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues where required.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 qualification in Agricultural or Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Essentials:

• Relevant experience in repairing and servicing plant, agricultural or similar machinery.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and repair.
• Good organisational skills, including maintaining parts stock and repair records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to undertake Mobile Fitter duties when required.
• Valid driving licence.
