The Project Management Supervisor is responsible for managing the overall project management activities within the organization. This role involves leading a team of project management professionals, developing and implementing project management procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Project Management Supervisor conducts regular audits, reviews project data, and collaborates with other departments to address project issues and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing project documentation, providing training and development opportunities for staff, and reporting on project performance to senior management.
Responsibilities:
Planning and Coordination
• Develop and implement project plans and timelines
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
• Ensure adherence to project budget and deadlines
Communication and Stakeholder Management
• Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders
• Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Facilitate effective communication within the project team
Resource Management
• Allocate and manage project resources effectively
• Monitor and track resource utilization and expenses
• Identify and acquire necessary resources for the project
• Ensure resources are utilized efficiently and within budget
• Make recommendations for resource optimization and cost saving measures
Quality Assurance
• Develop and implement quality standards for project deliverables
• Ensure project deliverables meet client and stakeholder expectations
• Conduct quality control checks and address any issues or concerns
• Implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards
Project Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
• Track and report project progress, budget, and resource utilization
• Document and communicate any changes to project scope or requirements
Continuous Improvement
• Identify areas for improvement in project management processes
• Implement changes and improvements to enhance project efficiency
• Encourage and facilitate continuous learning and development within the team
• Regularly review and evaluate project performance and make necessary adjustments.
Team Management:
• Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
• Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.
• Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
Adaptability:
• Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and flexible is crucial.
• Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on organizational goals and guidelines.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in developing and implementing project management strategies and plans.
• Knowledge of risk management and project scheduling techniques.
