Job Description

Develops policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc. | Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) ownership and ensuring compliance to regulatory and ISO standards Develop and maintain measurements that support early problem detection and identification of quality deviations
  • Develop and maintain quality plans to ensure fit for purpose raw materials, finished products and packaging materials Investigate and report on customer and supplier complaints.
  • Manage the closure and quality of corrective and preventive actions stemming from customer complaints, supplier complaints and plant investigations as per company standards.
  • Ensure production traceability data is accessible and fit for purpose in the event of product recalls and customer complaints.
  • Conduct all activities and tasks relating to the introduction of new products and processes, trials and process validation as dictated by the company standard
  • Conduct internal, external, customer and regulatory audits as per the audit schedule developed in line with business strategies and goals .
  • Ensure that all laboratory instruments are in good working conditions and calibration status is up to date Ensure that adequate stock of reagents and standardised solutions are kept.
  • Ensure proper recording and analysis of results Liaise and report monthly on quality performance and KPIs to SC management and quality management.
