Engineer Efficiency Develop strategies to optimise performance, production, and system efficiencies.
Analyse & Act Conduct performance tests, analyse trends, and generate detailed reports with practical recommendations.
Quality Control Ensure measurement instruments and control systems are calibrated, accurate, and trustworthy.
Data-Driven Decisions Forecast daily production, monitor critical inputs (fuel, steam, water), and improve control logic to enhance plant performance.
Problem Solver Investigate plant incidents and breakdowns, assign costs, and drive continuous improvement.
Compliance Mastery Oversee waste/process by-product compliance and maintain SHERQ standards.
B-Tech or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Project Management certification
GCC Factories highly advantageous
Minimum 6 years in a similar role within a power plant or utilities environment
Deep knowledge of DCS, CMMS, and plant operations
Expert in performance modelling, testing protocols, and risk assessments
Advanced numerical, analytical, and auditing skills
Familiar with SHERQ systems and legislative compliance
Strong command of MS Office and performance tools
Leadership mindset with sharp communication and facilitation abilities
Integrity-driven, professional, and safety-conscious
A self-starter whos reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented
A detail-focused, high-performing team player with coaching capabilities
