Reporting into the Warehouse Team Leader, we are searching for a team member to join us a Mobile Plant Operator at our Immingham Plant.

This role requires you to work a mix of days and nights on a 3-week rolling shift pattern. Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 07:00 or 19:00.

What you'll be doing:

As a Warehouse Plant Operator, you will work efficiently and accurately within the warehouse, performing continuous quality checks and monitoring operations. You will ensure the forklift truck is well-maintained and contribute to high customer satisfaction by verifying that the correct goods are loaded onto vehicles and dispatched on time.

  • Adhere to company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

  • Accurately pick orders and efficiently load trucks.

  • Promptly communicate any issues to the appropriate personnel for swift resolution and ensure smooth shift handovers to maintain seamless loading operations.

  • Ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers.

  • Maintain accurate stock records.

  • Comply with all quality systems to guarantee product standards.

  • Follow established operating procedures.

  • Keep detailed records and report issues clearly and accurately.

  • Identify and segregate defective products, ensuring damaged items are replaced with new pallets.

  • Actively contribute to the improvement of site systems and adhere to all safety protocols.

  • Perform any other tasks required to fulfill your role effectively.

What we'd love for you to have:

  • The ability to read and interpret dispatch notes accurately.

  • Experience working within quality systems.

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck license

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including; days, nights and weekends.
