Position: Plant Operator – Finishing/Hardening Department

Location: Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany

Type: 35 working hours per week

Tasks:

• Preparation, setup, and configuration of production and finishing equipment
• Procurement, dosing, and processing of auxiliary materials and consumables, particularly paints and coatings
• Operation, control, and monitoring of equipment, as well as adjustment of production parameters
• Conducting visual and quality inspections to ensure surface quality
• Monitoring and optimizing production processes, as well as adjusting equipment parameters
• Identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions, as well as assisting with fault analysis
• Conducting dimensional and surface inspections in accordance with technical specifications
• Documenting inspection results and production data
• Performing cleaning, upkeep, and simple maintenance tasks on production equipment

Requirements:

• Completed technical or vocational training, for example as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), metal technology specialist (m/f/d), or in a comparable profession
• Ideally, professional experience in operating and monitoring production equipment
• Fluency in German
• Technical understanding as well as knowledge of setting up and controlling machines and equipment
• Experience in surface treatment/surface finishing
• Knowledge of quality control and the use of testing and measuring equipment
• An independent, meticulous, and quality-conscious approach to work
• A strong sense of responsibility and a structured way of working
