About the Opportunity
Council is seeking two full-time Plant Operators with demonstrated ability to operate a variety of medium and heavy mechanical plant.
These positions are based out of Council’s Casterton depot and offers a 9-day fortnight which provides a great work-life balance while contributing to essential community services.
As part of the Works team, the Plant Operator is responsible for undertaking a range of civil construction and infrastructure maintenance works across the Shire. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a range of plant to undertake tasks associated with the construction and maintenance of roads, drainage, paths, bridges, street furniture and general maintenance.
