What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with experienced Plant Operators for our Fulton Hogan Trenchless Technologies (Horizontal Directional Drilling) business in the Victorian Utilities sector. We're looking for someone who works collaboratively with field staff (and clients) and supports them to get the job done safely. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
Operation of Excavators (20T and larger), Posi-Tracks, Tipper and HR Trucks
Safe set up of job sites in accordance with worksite supervisors requirements and Completing JSEA / Pre-Start forms
Interpreting DBYD plans and locating underground assets before works commence
Maintenance of site vehicles and plant to ensure they are kept clean and in safe working order
Reporting day to day productivity and issues through to engineers and supervisors
Implementing environmental controls in accordance with site CEMPs.
How you'll connect to the role:
Trade qualifications desirable but not a must
Experience in civil construction (preferably in the Water sector)
Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
Valid Drivers License, HR Truck License highly regarded
Preferable to have Excavator, Front End Loader, Bobcat, Rigger / Dogman tickets and a good understanding of maintenance required for designated machinery
Reliable & punctual with a good attitude towards work with good on-site problem solving expertise
