About Our Opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Plant Operative to join our production team in Worksop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating extrusion machinery to deliver high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment.
Working closely with your Team Leader, you’ll play a key part in maintaining performance, meeting production targets, and upholding high standards across the site.
Shifts- Monday days 12:30 - 18:30 / Tuesday - Thursday days 06:00 - 18:30 / Monday - Wednesday nights 18:00 - 06:30 / Thursday nights 18:00 - 12:00
What You Will Be Doing
• Operating and setting up extrusion machinery in line with procedures.
• Monitoring production to ensure quality standards and KPIs are achieved.
• Adjusting machine settings to meet required specifications.
• Completing checks, maintenance, and cleaning in line with TPM schedules.
• Accurately completing production paperwork and records.
• Reporting issues and maintaining clear communication with your Team Leader.
• Following all Health & Safety policies and promoting a positive safety culture.
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
About You
• Previous experience in a factory or production environment (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to use your initiative.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Desirable:
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
• FLT (Reach/Counterbalance) licence.
• Knowledge or experience of extrusion processes.
