This role is responsible for comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and control at the Irapuato plant, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, cost management, internal audits, assets management, and headcount reporting base on Lean Principles.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the development of annual Labor and Overhead budgets, monthly forecasts, and full-year cost consolidation. Perform comprehensive variance analysis to track performance against business objectives.
  • Operational Cost Control: Manage plant overhead costs by reviewing and approving Purchase Orders (POs). Ensure correct cost allocation and verify fund availability before expense approval.
  • Month-End Close Management: Execute month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and consolidation of overhead costs, ensuring the total integrity of accounting records.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a financial advisor to production and support areas. Lead cost-reduction meetings and collaborate with plant managers to identify physical factors impacting costs and implement corrective measures.
  • Shop Floor Engagement & Asset Control: Conduct on-site reviews (on the production floor) to verify assets, understand technical requirements for PO approvals, and ensure that financial reports reflect actual plant operations.
  • Launch Support: Provide dedicated financial tracking and reporting for new program launches, ensuring alignment with specific budget authorizations and launch milestones.
  • System Administration & Digitalization: Serve as the Site Administrator for internal systems (FOM 3040) and drive the modernization of financial reporting through digital tools like Power BI and SAP.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (BA), or Industrial Engineering (IE).
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in operational finance, cost accounting, or financial control, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English (Fluent) is a must.
  • Technical Skills:

    Strong proficiency in Excel

    • Knowledge of Power BI and SAP is a significant plus.
  • Mindset & Soft Skills:
    • "Hands-on" Approach: Must be comfortable and willing to spend time on the production floor
    • Analytical Eye: High attention to detail to detect deviations and ensure cost integrity.
    • Business Partnership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to advise production managers and influence decision-making.

Availability: Ability to work 100% on-siteMonday to Friday in Irapuato Plant to support daily production needs.
