The position pays an annual base salary of $100,000 to $125,000.

The Role
The Plant Manufacturing Engineer is a major contributor to the success of the Manufacturing facility and is responsible for discovering opportunities to improve productivity and implement sustainable solutions. This role requires an individual with a strong “find it and fix it” mentality who is driven by a desire to work with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems and implement modern solutions in a mature facility. This is a hybrid role and requires a dynamic engineer who can serve as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, and Continuous Improvement Engineer.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, manufacturing or process background preferred
• Proven experience implementing solutions for a production facility (>5 years preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams through indirect leadership
• Must be available for irregular hours depending on project needs
• Must be willing to travel up to 10% based on business need
Knowledge/Skills:
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Extensive experience utilizing LEAN / Six Sigma to discover problems and implement solutions
• Prefers hands-on work and does not hesitate to run toward problems
• Preferred experience with vacuum induction furnaces in the manufacturing of superalloys
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
• Proficiency in CAD software for facility layouts and tools for modeling process systems
• Proficient in capital project management and budgeting processes
• Experience with automation and modern PLC control systems
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g. Registered Engineer, PMP, Six Sigma, Lean)
