Our award-winning client is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. We're searching for an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our profile extrusion facility. This is a critical leadership role, ideal for a hands-on professional with a proven track record in PVC extrusion (siding, railing, pipe, conduit, custom profiles, or fencing). You'll take full ownership of all plant operations, driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a thriving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all facets of the extrusion plant, ensuring operational excellence.

• Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team, including supervisors, QC, Maintenance, fabrication, assembly, and shipping/receiving personnel.

• Optimize production scheduling to maximize efficiency across the entire plant.

• Oversee material management and inventory control.

• Ensure all supervisors are effectively trained and that they, in turn, provide comprehensive training to line workers.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized plant environment, enforcing strict housekeeping and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.

• Drive and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and output.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience within a PVC profile extrusion manufacturing operation (e.g., siding, pipe, window profiles, fence, or similar).

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is preferred; however, extensive relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• A natural leader with exceptional people skills and the ability to inspire and rally a team to achieve ambitious output and growth goals.

• A proactive, "take-charge" personality with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving issues efficiently and effectively managing company growth.

• Hands-on approach, willing to actively train and problem-solve directly on the plant floor.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with R&D, Engineering, Maintenance, and Upper Management regarding challenges and opportunities.

• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
