Plant Manager (w/m/d)
Libidza (close to Częstochowa)
As a motivational leader, create and maintain a framework for effective and efficient operations to deliver against customer needs and for fruitful collaboration of the plant with all relevant internal and external interfaces.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire organization, planning and steering of a manufacturing plant,
- Drive and ensure cost-efficient, high quality, timely operations including external sterilization in line with regulatory requirements, HSE and further relevant policies and procedures,
- In charge of resource planning and optimization,
- Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance, develop and lead the team, provide direction and empowerment for plant leadership team,
- Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees at all levels as well as with relevant internal and external key stakeholders,
- Ensure adequate employee recruitment, qualification and training,
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus,
- Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives,
- Create and align cost planning, investment planning and budget planning,
- Actively work with KPI to monitor and steer the plant,
- Perform entrepreneurial duties including safety and security as well as compliance with all legal requirements and regulations defined by authorities,
- Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology.
Interaction with internal / external customers and key contacts:
- Global Engineering: enhance efficiency of existing processes and support standardization efforts,
- Ensure ramp-up of new production equipment,
- Woundcare R&D: Ensure transfer of process and product knowledge, allow for sample production,
- Central SCM, Master Planning: Cooperate on regular demand planning for the plant as guided by SCM, ensure timely delivery and preparation for shipment to central HARTMANN warehouse,
- Quality: Ensure product and process quality according to external and internal procedures and regulations,
- Procurement: Ensure availability of raw materials while supporting optimization measures of purchasing,
- HR: Motivate and develop staff to provide right levels of qualification, flexibility and long-term development,
- Regulatory Affairs: Ensure product and process quality according to external and internal procedures and regulations.
Skills and qualifications:
- Proven track record in managing operations with focus on output and efficiency,
- Experience in operations routines, e.g. as Operations Head, min. 100 FTE in certain complexity,
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fields,
- In-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources),
- Experience with various aspects of business such as safety, production, HR, supply and demand management and other,
- Strong leadership skills, inspirational leadership,
- Sufficient background in medical device industry,
- Successful track record in cross-functional roles in multi-national complex and dynamic business environments,
- Process know how, experience in ramp-up of new machines.

- The Candidate’s personal data is processed for purposes related to recruitment. The legal basis for processing personal data is primarily Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR in connection with Article 221 §1 of the Polish Labour Code, as well as Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e. consent to the processing of personal data contained in the CV or other documents (including an image/photo) provided by the Candidate to the employer, which are not expressly required under labour law regulations.
