Telemecanique Sensors—the 100-year-old sensor-technology brand of YAGEO Group—has spent a century pushing the limits of industrial sensing. We are currently seeking a Plant Manager at our Kettering (Dayton), Ohio location. This position is responsible for all aspects of the management of the plant while assuring results on safety, quality, service, cost. This role is also responsible for the management of performance and the load/resource balance of production. This is an onsite role.

  • People & Environment protection, engagement and efficiency.

    • Continuous improvement actions
    • Create sense of urgency to facilitate issue resolution and associated communication
    • Reduction of None Quality Cost
    • Guaranty the expected Service level from the factory and keep the ownership on deliveries up to Customer premise
    • Leverage the adequate processes and tools to improve service level
  • Manufacturing Cost & Cash competitiveness
    • Clear understanding of the offer cost structure (CoGS breakdown).
    • Translate all actions performed at every level of the cost structure into P&L savings that translate into Consolidated Standard Cost (CSC) improvements
    • Ensure the right capacity vs the needs with the right forward looking anticipation.
    • Management of inventory (up and down stream) with specific focus on UnHS and SS parameter management
  • Represent Yageo in the local ecosystem

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality or Engineering with 5 years of experience as a production or supply chain manager.
  • Experience managing a diverse team including manufacturing operators.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
