Our award-winning client is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. This key leadership role offers the chance to directly impact the success of our company. You will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products at optimal costs. You will lead a team of 475+ employees (and growing!), fostering a culture of safety, quality, communication, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve and sustain excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) for the plant.

• Cultivate a collaborative environment where all departments work together to achieve company goals.

• Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

• Guide the development and execution of the annual budget.

• Champion World Class Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met.

• Lead problem-solving efforts across product, quality, operational, and personnel issues.

• Foster open communication to keep employees informed and maintain a strong, union-free work environment.

• Manage all aspects of human resources, including performance reviews, compensation, and hiring.

• Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and sales activities.

• Collaborate with customers to identify and expand service offerings.

• Optimize resource utilization (materials, equipment, and personnel) for maximum efficiency.

• Monitor production costs and product quality, continuously improving processes to maintain profitability.

• Analyze competitor strategies and develop sales plans to capture new markets.

• Oversee the preparation of accurate accounting records.

• Provide strategic direction and guidance to department managers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, etc.) preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in plant management, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Familiarity with the Toyota Production System (TPS) is a plus.

• Prior experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Japanese automotive customers is a strong advantage.

• Proven project management experience.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
