Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The following are fundamental duties that an individual who holds the position must perform. This is not an exhaustive list. Other duties, in addition to essential job functions, will be assigned at the discretion of the Distribution Manager

1. Operate the fleet equipment safely and professionally.
2. Maintain the proper maintenance of all equipment
3. Ensure the cleanliness of the truck daily
4. Adhere to all DOT rules, Federal regulations and company polices.
5. Fuel truck, trailer, and Thermo-King daily.
6. Spot trailers for case dock, culture room, and warehouse.
7. Help move trailers for the cooler as needed.
8. Move empty trailers to parking lot.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to deal with people tactfully and effectively
• Effectively communicate, understand, write in English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
2. Class A CDL license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. Sitting for continuously long periods at a time
2. Ability to climb in and out of truck

PREREQUISITES

• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, physical aptitude test and background check within 48 hours of acceptance of a conditional employment offer.
