Job Title: Plant Engineer HVAC (Cold Storage Food Manufacturing)

A growing food manufacturing company is looking for a Plant Engineer HVAC to manage the performance and reliability of refrigeration systems in a cold storage setup. This role is vital in maintaining temperature standards across production and warehousing for temperature-sensitive goods such as ice cream and frozen desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems (walk-in and blast freezers).

• Ensure all cooling systems maintain required temperature levels for ice cream production and storage.

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance efforts to avoid product loss or downtime.

• Monitor and calibrate sensors and temperature control systems.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and in-house maintenance teams.

• Maintain strict compliance with GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Optimize energy usage and recommend cost-effective improvements.

• Keep accurate records of maintenance logs and system reports.

• Support audit readiness and cold chain compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering fields.

• PRC license is a plus, but not mandatory.

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial HVAC or cold storage systems (ice cream/frozen food industry preferred).

• In-depth knowledge of air circulation, freezing mechanics, and refrigeration safety.

• Familiarity with ammonia/freon-based systems, blast freezers, and pressure relief setups.

• Skilled in HVAC monitoring tools and diagnostics.

• Willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on a flexible schedule.

• Strong documentation, analytical, and leadership skills.
