This role provides hands-on engineering and maintenance support, contributes to capital projects, and helps improve equipment reliability, safety, capacity, and product quality in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and maintenance support to daily plant operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and support corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Support development and execution of daily and weekly maintenance plans to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Coordinate maintenance, engineering, and contractor activities related to equipment repairs, upgrades, and installations.
  • Contribute to the implementation of maintenance and reliability best practices to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are completed and documented in accordance with MAPEI Group Global Standards.
  • Support capital projects by assisting with scope development, bid reviews, contractor coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Travel to Admixture manufacturing sites to support equipment setup, installations, capital projects, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities in collaboration with site and corporate teams.

  • Support enforcement of safety policies and help identify and address unsafe acts or conditions involving employees and contractors.
  • Support compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and Safety Committee activities as assigned.
  • Assist with maintenance parts and equipment inventory control.
  • Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What’s in it for you

  • In this role, you will earn a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
  • Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual performance and company results.
  • FREE medical insurance for employees or the option of a highly competitive medical plan with minimal monthly contributions.
  • 17 days of paid vacation and personal time annually (prorated in year one).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with up to 6% company match.
  • Dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, employer-paid life insurance, and free telemedicine services.
  • Additional employee-focused programs including tuition reimbursement, discounted home and auto insurance, supplemental life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of engineering or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; chemicals and/or admixtures experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installations.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, reliability concepts, and maintenance KPIs.
  • Ability to coordinate work across maintenance, operations, and external contractors.
