Job Description

We are supporting a global manufacturing organization in the search for a Plant Controller Jr to contribute to the financial operation of one of its key sites in Mexico.

This role is designed for a hands-on finance specialist who thrives in plant environments, working closely with Operations to ensure financial accuracy, cost control, and strong business decision-making.

The position offers high visibility within the organization and direct impact on operational performance, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and execute plant financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

• Lead month-end close activities, including variance analysis and cost performance tracking

• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including standard cost, BOMs, and cost centers

• Partner with Operations to analyze productivity, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for the plant

• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements

• Support audits (internal and external) and ensure readiness of financial data

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to plant leadership for decision-making

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in controlling/finance within manufacturing environments.

• Strong experience in plant finance, cost accounting, and operational analysis.

• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) required.

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).

• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.

• Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.

Job Offer:

• Monthly salary: MXN 55,000 – 65,000 (gross), depending on experience and qualifications.
