Job Description

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Plans Mobility Analyst to provide strategic and operational mobility planning and analytical support to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) at MacDill AFB, FL. In this role, you will analyze and synchronize deployment and distribution requirements, assess theater mobility challenges, and develop data-driven recommendations to improve transportation effectiveness throughout the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). This position involves manipulating and interpreting JOPES data, analyzing theater airlift utilization and distribution trends, developing metrics and assessments, and preparing reports and briefings for senior leadership. You will support the synchronization of mobility data across operational stakeholders and identify opportunities to optimize theater distribution and available transportation resources.

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to support strategic and operational mobility planning, joint deployment and distribution operations, theater distribution, force flow, and transportation planning.
  • Must possess strong experience utilizing the Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES), including the ability to manipulate, interpret, analyze, and synchronize Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD).
  • Must be capable of analyzing deployment, distribution, transportation, and mobility data to identify trends, constraints, root causes, shortfalls, and theater distribution challenges.
  • Must have the ability to develop data-driven recommendations that improve mobility operations, transportation effectiveness, force flow, and utilization of theater distribution resources.
  • Must possess experience developing metrics, analytical products, reports, assessments, and senior-level briefings related to mobility, deployment, distribution, or transportation operations.
  • Must have experience within the last five (5) years using GATES, JOPES, Single Mobility System (SMS), and Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), with knowledge of USCENTCOM TPFDD processes and applicable joint logistics and distribution guidance.
  • Must possess and maintain a current IAT Level I professional certification and have the ability to synchronize deployment and distribution data across operational stakeholders and support theater-level mobility assessments.
  • Must have three to seven (3–7) years of relevant mobility/logistics operations experience or equivalent military/operational experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, military studies, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
