
Objective
The Planning / Scheduling Manager is responsible for leading production planning and master scheduling coordination activities across manufacturing operations to maximize efficiency, optimize capacity, and meet customer delivery commitments. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to align production schedules with demand forecasts, material availability, and operational capabilities. The role provides centralized production plans while collaborating with plant-level scheduling teams for execution and schedule optimization.

Work Environment
This job operates in both a professional office and manufacturing plant environment. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers. In the plant environment, the employee may be exposed to noise, dust, and chemicals and is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, kneel and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. May require evening and weekend hours as needed to support business and production requirements.
Travel
This position requires travel of up to 25%, primarily to local manufacturing locations.
