Job Description

Working Student is a long-term paid internship that allows you to kickstart your career in the IT and Telecom industry while gaining hands-on experience in a real R&D environment. The internship typically lasts from 6 to 24 months, with flexible working hours to support your studies.

Location: Wroclaw, hybrid

You will join the MI RRD RL1 SW Platform organization and become part of the Planning & Architecture Team, supporting Product Owners and architects in their day-to-day activities related to planning, data consistency, metrics, and transparency across the software platform.The main responsibility of this role is to support Product Owners in their daily planning and coordination activities, as well as to ensure data consistency, traceability, and quality across various planning, reporting, and KPI-related tools. You will also be part of the journey towards adopting modern, AI-enabled solutions to improve planning efficiency and decision-making.

We are looking for a person who is open to new technologies and eager to be part of introducing modern AI-based solutions into daily planning and reporting activities.

You will have an opportunity to participate in the adoption and enablement of AI-driven solutions supporting planning, metrics, and data consistency. Explore practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) in an R&D and operational context. Help improve efficiency, traceability, and decision-making using AI-assisted workflows and tools.

  • Support Product Owners in daily planning activities within the software platform organization
  • Maintain, validate, and reconcile data across multiple planning, tracking, and reporting tools
  • Support alignment between architecture elements, competence areas, plans, and related metrics
  • Prepare, consolidate, and analyze data sets used for KPIs, metrics, and management reporting
  • Support creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Jira-based views)
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities in planning and reporting tools
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for internal stakeholders and management
  • Cooperate closely with Product Owners, architects, planners, and other stakeholders across RL1
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tooling, and data transparency

You Have:

  • Active student status (preferred fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)
  • Good English skills (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Interest in AI / LLM technologies is highly welcomed
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work with complex and multidimensional data sets
  • Good organizational skills and a structured way of working
  • Openness to learning new tools, technologies, and ways of working
  • Team-player mindset with good communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience or basic knowledge of Jira (dashboards, workflows, reporting)
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization / reporting tools
  • Understanding of software development environments and planning processes
  • Interest or basic knowledge of AI / LLM technologies, automation, or data-driven solutions
