Planning Supervisor

What is your role?

As a Planning Supervisor, you will lead plant planning activities to ensure high service levels and strong cash flow performance. This role is responsible for coordinating with production, quality, product line management, technology, and plant leadership to plan, execute, and optimize supply chain operations. You will also identify and resolve capacity constraints, support inventory strategies, and provide direction to the planning team while serving as a subject matter expert in planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.

Major responsibilities and tasks

  • Supervise and optimize planning activities to ensure effective product delivery to customers and strong execution of plant planning priorities.
  • Collaborate in S&OP, demand, allocation, and capacity planning processes to align regional needs with tactical operating plans.
  • Manage raw material and finished goods inventory strategies to support business goals, material availability, and service performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, monitor key delivery metrics, and support new product implementation while guiding the planning team.

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • 5 years of supply chain experience.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent English/Spanish.
  • APICS certification is a plus.
