Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
- New headcount for growth
- Bing responsible for overall capacity planning, demand planning, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and optimization of all activities and support required for the delivery of products and services to our business partners from material / service acquisition through distribution. Work with procurement. warehouse and logistics operations to make supply intelligence to support business growth.
-Support SCM manager for regional and local continuous improvement SCM projects and other SCM functional management.
-Deploy the demand planning forecast process, convert to RCCP regular, implement S&OP among cross functions.
-Develop strategies to tighten adherence to department targets and consensus with company’s targets
-Create and participate in Supply Chain department KPI reporting and measurements.
-Lead forecast review meeting and work together with commercial and PLM team to drive forecast accuracy improvement
-Lead supply chain projects to improve process flow and establish policy to maximize working efficiency and effectiveness of planning team
-Supporting new product transfer to ensure material/capacity availability
-Work with regional and global supply chain teams to continuously improve internal communication through building understanding and providing accurate information.
-Build a highly effective team with a winning culture and opportunities to develop talents.
-Be responsible for capacity planning and monitor WO& material status to ensure the on-time delivery to customers.
-Be responsible for overall inventory control and do variations analysis to find opportunities to lower inventory level.
-Work together with related functions (P&T, logistic, warehouse etc.) to find cost saving opportunities and drive cost saving implement from planning perspective.
-Support on trading business and lead successful integration of business expansion opportunities and other growth projects to catch up more revenues.
-Support other supply chain functions in region, backfill as needed
Must
- Bachelor and /or above degree majoring in logistics and supply chain
- At least 5 years’ experience in planning and transportation
- Experience with scheduling and planning with plants
- Experience with manufacturing industry
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Workable written and oral English communication.
