Could you be the full-time Planning Specialist in Boksburg we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and industrial operations expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in managing the balance between demand and resources to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of quality, cost, and delivery, while optimizing site resources like people, machines, and cash. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Project Planning, Finance, and Human Resources), contribute to planning instances and monthly reporting, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of building and updating the Master Production Schedule and analyzing bottlenecks, but also ensuring adherence to production plans and addressing root causes of delays.
We’ll look to you for:
Applying Industrial Planning Golden Rules and EHS standards in workshops
Consolidating and analyzing demand forecasts
Collaborating with Materials Planners to ensure accurate master data maintenance
Building industrial planning for opportunities and analyzing site capacity
Monitoring production plan adherence and proposing recovery scenarios
Updating industrial planning tools and preparing communication packs for stakeholders

Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, or a related field (NQF 7)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with at least 3 years in planning
Hands-on experience in an industrial environment
Knowledge of end-to-end industrial planning processes and their impact on procurement and manufacturing
Advanced working proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Agile, responsible, and inclusive mindset
Fluent in English with good interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to work day and night shifts as required
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites if needed
