Job Description

Mission
The MEA Supply and Demand Planner will be responsible for managing demand forecasting, inventory planning, and ensuring the timely availability of products to meet customer demand. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including commercial, purchasing, market segment heads to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities, minimizing stockouts, and optimizing inventory levels.

Main Accountabilities
Demand Planning:
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing sales trends, market data, customer orders.
• Collaborate with Business Managers to incorporate customer feedback, market conditions into the demand forecast.
• Conduct monthly demand planning reviews to ensure forecast accuracy and adjust for market changes.
Supply Planning:
• Create supply plans that align with demand forecasts while considering inventory policies and supply chain constraints.
• Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure timely goods availability.
• Conduct Monthly Supply Reviews with Planning Manager and Market segment head to align on purchases
• Share forecast update with key principals
Hub Management:
• Oversee hub operations to ensure efficient distribution of products to regional markets.
• Manage inventory levels at hubs to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, ensuring product availability.
• Implement processes to track and improve the performance of distribution hubs, including inventory turnover and distribution lead times.
• Ensure all hub orders, in and out, are managed efficiently by coordinating approvals and streamlining order processes.
Inventory Management:
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by analyzing and managing stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points in alignment with planning manager and market segment heads.
• Lead initiatives to reduce excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in demand and supply planning including hub management.
• Ability to influence and achieve results through other.
• Ability to liaise with people at all levels both internally and externally.
• Knowledge of hub management principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Very good computer skills (AX Dynamics, excel, word)
• APICS/CSCP certification or similar is a plus.
• Preferable knowledge in the applicable regulation of the field
• Knowledge in SHEQ is a plus
