As Planning & Resources Manager at Deep BV, you take charge of developing and strengthening the team of ten Deepers responsible for planning our people and equipment and maintaining our technical resources. You ensure that people, equipment, time, and budget are aligned with project demands.
You have ten direct reports:
Planning & Support (Operations): People Planner, Equipment Planner, Office Manager
Technical Department (Resources): Lead Engineer, Survey Engineers, Chief Warehouse, Technical Assistant
With a clear overview of operations, capacity, and resource availability, you steer the team to deliver realistic and efficient plans while ensuring equipment and technical resources are ready for deployment. You monitor bottlenecks in both planning and resource management, improve workflows, and make sure we stay ahead while remaining in control when operations change at short notice.
Working closely with Operations and other departments, you connect strategy with day-to-day execution. Reporting to the Operations Director, you play a visible role in building a strong, reliable, and future-ready operation, both in people planning and technical readiness.
Lead and develop the Planning and Resources teams, setting clear priorities and ensuring strong daily performance.
Ensure smart and reliable resource allocation by overseeing the planning of people and equipment, while keeping the bigger operational picture in mind.
Support project teams proactively, making sure schedules, equipment, and technical support are aligned with project needs.
Keep equipment ready for deployment, ensuring availability, maintenance, certification, and proper warehouse operations.
Improve processes and workflows across planning, equipment management, and logistics to increase efficiency and reliability.
Maintain high HSEQ standards, ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with quality and certification requirements.
Strengthen collaboration across departments, connecting planning, technical, fleet, and project teams to keep operations running smoothly — even when priorities shift.
