Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Planning & Purchasing Senior Officer to join our team at our Pallini premises.

As a Planning & Purchasing Senior Officer, you will be responsible for managing production/packaging schedules and the procurement of printed packaging materials, to ensure smooth operation of the plant and the timely delivery of the products.

Requirements

What you will do:

More particularly:

  • Analyze, maintain, and execute plant material requirements generated through MRP for printed packaging materials and convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring timely material procurement, uninterrupted production and optimal inventory levels
  • Monitor stock inventory and proactively manage slow-moving and low-stock materials to optimize inventory levels, minimize excess stock and waste, and ensure uninterrupted production operations
  • Prepare and maintain short -term (3-month) production and packaging schedules based on customer orders, capacity constraints and materials availability, while optimizing resource utilization to ensure efficient operations and service level achievement
  • Monitor daily production progress and adjust schedules to address production and packaging priorities. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans and timely completion of scheduled activities
  • Coordinate with Master Planning and QC teams to ensure timely availability and release of raw materials and components and production continuity
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule adherence, and overall production performance, ensuring alignment with production targets and operational objectives

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in relevant field, Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience

Job-Specific Skills:

    • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
    • Ιn-depth knowledge and experience in SAP or similar ERP system would be considered an asset
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Exceptional communication skills, strong project management skills
