Our award-winning client is seeking a Planning Manager to join their team.Our client, a thriving 150-year-old industrial CPG manufacturer, seeks a motivated Manager of Planning to join their growing team. In this critical role, you'll report directly to the CFO and play a key role in maximizing company profitability, meeting customer demand, and optimizing plant capacity.
Responsibilities:
Lead the production planning team, driving efficient order and backlog management.
Oversee work planning through plant assets, ensuring smooth operations.
Establish and optimize inventory levels to balance cost and customer needs.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve production, inventory, and service targets.
Leverage data analysis and business intelligence tools to translate forecasts and historical data sets into actionable insights for production & operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong customer focus and experience translating forecasts into production plans.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and manipulation.
Experience with ERP systems and business analytics software (Power BI preferred).
