Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 8-10 years of experience.
  • ERP management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using our ERP system (oracle), and advanced planning tools.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Bilingual English - Spanish

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and manage production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production efficiency.
  • Assess production capacity and resource availability to ensure alignment with demand forecasts. Make recommendations for capacity expansions or adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support production schedules. Liaise with logistics teams to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, on-time delivery, and inventory turns. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, and engineering to incorporate market trends, product changes, and customer requirements into production plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the production planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
