Job Description

We are looking for a Planner with experience in an R&D/NPI manufacturing environment to support development and early‑stage production activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and material availability to enable successful development, NPI execution, and a smooth transition to high‑volume manufacturing, while working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What will your job look like:

  • Monitor forecast numbers from R&D teams.
  • Plan, scheduled and coordinated the R&D production.
  • Plan, scheduled and coordinated the products with the sub-contractor for R&D internal demands.
  • Ensure and coordinate the material preparation per customer demands and internal needs.
  • Promote engineering team activities of 2nd source and approval of final producats.
  • Uses ERP system to monitor work in progress in production floor.
  • Works with cross functional team members to help improve the reporting structure in ERP systems.
  • Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
  • Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.
  • Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Control and manage all ECOs and check the impact on production plan.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure.

All you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in planning in R&D environment.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office environment.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
  • Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge on Net-suite - an advantage.
  • Cooperative, team player and positive attitude.
  • Excellent judgment, problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Coaching skills with the ability to motivate employees.
