Job Title Planning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for construction projects. The candidate will support project teams by preparing detailed schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
Develop baseline schedules, work programs, and resource-loaded plans
Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
Analyze delays, variances, and critical path impacts
Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and cash flow forecasts
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors
Support claims, extensions of time (EOT), and delay analysis
Review contractor schedules and method statements
Maintain planning records and documentation
Support project meetings with planning updates
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
8–10 years experience as a Planning Engineer in construction projects
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory); MS Project (advantage)
Experience in UAE construction projects preferred
Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and reporting
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
