To support this mission, Syngenta’s Supply Chain Management team is seeking a Planning Capabilities Manager in Uruguay. This role will bring LATAM supply planning capabilities to next level maturity through engagement of Supply Planning key users (Asset Planners, Tolling, Supply Chain Planners, Vendor Scheduler, CU Supply Planners, Demand Planners) with regular trainings, refresh webinars, community discussions, tracking of incidents and change requests, monitoring and driving regional roadmaps, and coordination with the IT teams and Global DP&I Planning team.

Accountabilities

  • To lead and set direction for the development and the continuous improvement of Supply Planning capabilities across the LATAM Region for CP aiming to deliver measurable productivity improvements.
  • To ensure maximum leverage of the platforms: APO across all Business Units to provide efficiency gains, simplicity, and an improved customer experience.
  • Contribute (with Demand Planning) to the quality of information coming and sending from and to IBP.
  • To support end-to-end supply planning process development across CUs, the LATAM Region and across functions.
  • Support the LATAM supply planning change agenda in coordination with project managers, BPCs and Supply Planning Excellence Head.
  • Collaborate with LATAM Supply Operations Head to develop and deliver LATAM supply planning strategy.
  • Drives standard ways of working.
  • Supports the regional project portfolio of supply chain planning improvements. Effectively addresses issues and manages escalation.
  • Is the point of contact for global improvement initiatives.
  • Manages interfaces and ways of working with other functions like IT, Logistics, FPP, etc. to ensure alignment.
  • Works with external partners to bring-in planning best-practices and latest thinking.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner across organizational hierarchies at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Operational Excellence and continuous improvement skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical mindset coupled with strategic execution capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools and interpretation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influential leadership skills.
  • Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal).
