Job Description

Objective of the role: This role supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and series production planning with a strong emphasis on supply chain systems, planning models, and data quality. The position combines hands-on materials and supply planning execution with Kinaxis and supply chain system maintenance and improvement, spending approximately 30–40% of time on systems-related activities. The role is ideal for a technically strong planner who understands planning logic and enjoys translating business requirements into system solutions. Main Responsibilities:NPI & Series Production Planning (≈60–70%)NPI Planning & Execution (20-30%)
  • Support NPI supply planning from prototype through pilot and ramp-up.
  • Execute NPI lot ordering, including build sizing and timing.
  • Monitor NPI lots and support expediting to protect project milestones.
  • Assist with component allocations for constrained materials.
  • Support management of component consignments with EMS partners.
  • Prepare and maintain NPI project supply chain reporting (status, shortages, risks).
Series Production & Materials Planning (30-50%)
  • Perform materials planning for series production items aligned with demand signals.
  • Execute PO placement and follow-up with suppliers.
  • Support allocation management across NPI and series products.
  • Coordinate with customer service to align priorities and delivery commitments.
  • Conduct delivery performance analysis (OTD, backlog, shortages) and support corrective actions.
 Supply Chain Systems & Kinaxis (≈30–40%)Planning System Maintenance
  • Maintain and support Kinaxis planning models for NPI and series production.
  • Ensure accuracy of master data (lead times, order policies, BOM structures, constraints).
  • Monitor system outputs and identify data or logic issues impacting planning results.
System Improvements & Support
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes and system logic.
  • Implement small enhancements, configuration changes, and model updates in Kinaxis, EDI and Oracle.
  • Act as first-level support for planners and stakeholders using supply chain systems.
  • Document planning logic, system changes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support testing and validation during system updates or new functionality rollouts. 
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years working experiences. 
  • 3-5 years' experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, or SC analytics. Experience working in a fabless company with very tight link and monitoring of the supplier (EMS PCB assembly) is an advantage.
  • Strong interest and aptitude for planning systems and data models
  • Experience with Kinaxis or similar APS tools (OMP, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder) is a strong plus
  • Solid Excel and analytical skills; ability to understand planning logic and constraints
