Why this role

In this role, you’ll plan and line up fault jobs, outages and planned maintenance so crews can get on with the work safely and without delays. You’ll build job packs, organise access, people and gear, and keep schedules realistic and up to date. The way you set jobs up will directly support supervisors and crews, helping reduce downtime and keep customers switched on.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and line up fault jobs, outages and planned works so crews are used properly and the work flows.

  • Put together clear job packs with the right safety info, permits, access and materials.

  • Arrange people, plant, gear and contractors so crews aren’t held up.

  • Sort network access and stay in close contact with supervisors, lineys and other stakeholders.

  • Keep schedules on track and close jobs out properly, making sure all paperwork and records are done.

What we offer

  • Flexible hybrid work environment.
  • Access our OneRewards Discount Program.
  • Discounted Medibank health insurance.
  • Participate in our Wellness Program with AIA Vitality.
  • Benefit from 16 weeks of paid primary parental leave.
  • Complimentary salary continuance insurance.
  • Shape your career with an Individual Development Plan.

About you

  • You’ve come up through the field – on the tools, leading a crew or supervising jobs – and you know what it takes to get work done safely and properly.

  • You’re organised, practical, and comfortable working with both site crews and systems in the office.

  • Experience working in electrical networks or utilities, with a solid understanding of overhead line work and outages.

  • Planning or scheduling experience beneficial, but realworld site knowledge and credibility with crews is more important.

  • A next step for someone looking to move into planning without stepping away from the field, within a stable, unionbacked Utilities O&M environment.
