Our client, a respected semi-state organisation, is seeking a Project Planner to join their Construction Team based in Dublin 2, operating under a hybrid working model. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of residential projects across the full development lifecycle, working closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors.
Responsibilities
• Monitor project progress across all stages, preparing detailed reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Assist in developing and maintaining consistent planning standards across contractor and developer programmes.
• Conduct site visits to gather live progress data and validate programme accuracy.
• Prepare data driven reports, dashboards and KPI tracking for project performance.
• Identify programme risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation strategies with the Construction Manager.
• Support change management processes, assessing programme impact of design changes and delays.
• Facilitate planning workshops with project teams and consultants to ensure consistency in scheduling.
• Perform integrity checks on programmes, identifying logic gaps, sequencing issues and constraints.
• Maintain accurate registers, delay logs and audit trails of programme changes.
Requirements
• Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project planning across design, procurement and construction phases.
• Proven experience within the Irish residential construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of programme management principles including CPM, sequencing and scheduling logic.
• Proficiency in Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to produce reports, S-curves and data analysis.
