Job Title:Planner-Scheduler

Location: Winfield WV

Department:Mining Service Center

Reports To:ManufacturingSpecialist

The Planner-Scheduleris responsible for managing planning, scheduling, and system optimization activities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERPand for the site This role ensures accurate demand forecasting, production planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination through effective use of D365 planning modules. The position serves as a key liaison between operations, procurement, finance,engineering,and external partners to ensure system integrity and operational efficiency, and to ensureon-time execution ofcustomer commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Planning & System Management

  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Supply Chain/Operations) to manage MRP, master planning, forecasting, and scheduling.

  • Configure and maintain planning parameters, item coverage settings, BOMs, and routing data.

  • Monitor system outputs andresolvesplanning exceptions.

  • Ensure data accuracy for inventory, production, and procurement processes.

Supply Chain & Production Planning

  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand forecasts.

  • Manage material requirements planning (MRP) and capacity planning.

  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to align demand and supply plans.

  • Assist in process improvement initiatives related to ERP planning and supply chain workflows.

  • Generate and analyze ERP reports related to demand, supply, and performance metrics.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational performance.

Knowledge, Skills,Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations / Supply Chain Management).

  • Experience with MRP, forecasting, and inventory control processes.

  • MSc/BSc in Business Administration or Supply Chain or the equivalent knowledge acquired from extensive experience from the warehouse or inventory management field.

  • APICS CPIM Certified

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or supply planning.

  • Well-developed communication skills, both interpersonal and organizational

  • Rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem-solving skills

Functional Competencies

  • Strong understanding of D365 Master Planning and Supply Chain modules.

  • Knowledge of BOMs, routings, capacity planning, and demand forecasting.

  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (Power BI preferred).

  • Familiarity with data analysis and ERP configuration.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Organizational agility and awareness

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
