The Planner Scheduler will be based in Austin, TX In this position, you will be responsible for performing the administrative tasks relating to material and production planning

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly SMT production schedules to support manufacturing priorities.
• Review production demands, release work orders and kits, and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure material readiness.
• Monitor production performance and update schedules based on capacity, demand, and operational requirements.
• Analyze line utilization, capacity, and throughput to improve production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with planning, supply chain, operations, engineering, IT, and global teams to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain production dashboards and KPI reporting, including utilization, yield, attainment, and operational performance metrics.
• Support planning system enhancements, demand integration, and master data accuracy to improve scheduling effectiveness and visibility.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Typically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Manufacturing Execution System (MES) / MS Office suite
• Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Experience with product launch and ability to navigate evolving team, work practices and systems integration
• Has some knowledge of manufacturing
• Experience with Baan a plus
